Evaluation helps organisations interpret what is happening in practice - across teams, agencies and communities - and use that insight to inform decisions.

Making evaluation usable

We place strong emphasis on ensuring evaluation is:

• transparent about what is known and what is not, and
• clear enough to support decisions in practice.

This means balancing rigour with usability. This enables evaluation outcomes to inform strategy, prioritisation and future investment, rather than becoming a standalone reporting exercise.
